"There are many stories that bring regard to the forthcoming of the beginning and end of the world, and in spite of that, I am not here to draw attention to all of them. Only one shall come of mention; the one I have come to believe. At the very beginning of time, there was nothing but a chasm, bound on either side by two elements; fire and ice. In fierce moments of which fire and ice met, they combined, producing the vast oceanic landscape, cloaked in the sea. However, the contact between the two raging elements not only created the dark waters, but also came to leave a bright spark. A spark shuddering with its dual nature, and so small, yet so powerful that it came to support life as we know it. That singular spark grew and tore in two and created the pairing of landmasses we have come to know as Armuire and Thuerian.
Plagued still with elements of ice and fire, however, the same chasm that had came to produce the island tore and and unleashed life. Formed by and filled with the two opposing forces, we left the ocean in pairs. The hawk and snake, horse and fox, elk and spider, man and wolf, among many others. The many species spread across the hostile land of the islands, identifying the islands as devastated and unstable as a result of their dual nature. If they were to prosper, it would require the work of many years. Hence, spreading the work across ourselves, each species maintained a differentiating aspect, not only in their own species, but within the world. We built the new world together, making it very similar to the one we know today.
However, even as the divisions and regulations made it easier to guard the world, they also made bonds between brothers weaker and more fragile. Without the sun, the moon will not be enough. Brother turned on brother as savages, and deprivation of the desire to overcome the other is driving all to madness. The creation of humans marked our very decent, for they feel the drums of war in a way that cannot be understood by any of us. In experimental means, new powers have been born into the species to fight for their allegiance; in the continuous war, will the delicate balance of harmony be lost?"
